Not as advertised
Item was advertised as having both English & Spanish language options and DID NOT.
This was the main reason I purchased these & I am very disappointed by the
misleading information. Think others should be correctly informed.
My 5 year old adores these dvds
My son adores animals and loves learning about them. He will watch these movies until he knows them by heart and is spouting animal facts left and right!
Very Educational For Young Kids.
On my last trip to the Ross Stores bargain DVD rack I found an "Animal Atlas - Animal Mysteries" DVD. I had no idea what it was, but I've always been interested in animals and my little boy (3+ years old) is beginning to show strong interests also. He's really curious and asks a lot of questions. I bought the disc for his viewing.
The DVD consists of three episodes of a TV program of uncertain origin, but I noted a "PBS" whisk by in one the credit listings and that would seem to fit. The weekly programs were meant for kids, and I'd guess it to be for grade-school kids, perhaps the lower grades. The programs are well done. Parts of the shows are animations and drawings and parts are of live animals. Most of the live animals are captured and in zoos. The photography was good, as was the general production. The animal examples are excellent and they could have used a lot more except for the program time restraints. The facts are fairly well presented and I only differ slightly...
